Transforming the “What If” Monster
In the age of the screaming buzz of AI and technology as a whole, I’m witnessing an incredible shift in the online space.
For over 2 decades now, I’ve been a vocal advocate for balance and simplicity in business.
- Click funnel bros clutched their protein bars when I said “you don’t need a 15 step funnel”
- Influencers winced when I said “Just focus on one platform”.
- Marketers scoffed when I ditched timers, incessant reminders, and gave our deepest content freely.
- Sales teams mouths dropped when they learned I promise “NO sales pitches” on my sales calls.
Why?
Because, it’s hard to believe that business can be done another way.
The space of business has been rife with manipulation tactics since inception.
No, not because the industry is filled with horrible people, but because it works.
Why do you think social media giants have companies like Neuro-Insight, Mindlab International, and Neurons, Inc. on the payroll?
To harness our human-ess for their benefit.
Now is the time to use our unique human-ess for the benefit of all.
The problem is:
And guess what?
We, the people, are starting to notice that.
That is the shift.
It’s almost comical to watch the “big profound insights” coming from leaders and books with big titles like “The End of Marketing”, “The New Rules of Marketing’, “Content Revolution” and “Marketing 3.0” and so on…

You know what the “BIG THING” is in all of these…
Humans don’t like being manipulated.
They want honesty.
They want transparency.
They want to be treated like…a human.
And in other news, water is wet.
Revelation?
Hardly.
Not to those of us that have been focusing on a human-first, sales as serving approach.
