The One Sentence Business Strategy


We’re inundated all day long with new approaches, platforms, tools, and concepts every day.

It may not be the most elegant phrase, but trust me, it’s the snappiest way to sum up the game of strategy.

Think about it.

They offer something unique, something that sets them apart from the competition, whether it’s what they do, how they do it, or who is doing it.


The strategy is to hone in on that uniqueness and make it so clear to your audience that it becomes the very reason they choose you.

So, here’s your challenge:

Keep this principle top of mind at all times.

Make it your guiding light in the ever-changing landscape of tools and tactics.

At the end of the day, business is about understanding the needs of your audience and serving them in a way that no one else can.

Ask yourself: What do I sell that people want but can’t get anywhere else?

Find the answer, and you’ve cracked the code to success.

Identify that one-of-a-kind value proposition and shout it from the rooftops.

Let the world know why you’re different, why you’re better, and why they can’t afford to miss out on what you have to offer.

  4. Can you think of something that really fires you up, something you’re super passionate about? How can you bring that passion into what you do every day?
  5. Your life story is pretty unique, right? What parts of your background make you who you are today? How can you use those experiences to connect with people in your business?
  6. When people say nice things about you, what do they usually mention? How can you make those qualities stand out even more in your business?
