More than 1 in 5 Americans (over 55 million) are now caregivers in some capacity, caring for family members with health or social needs.
In the UK there are now almost 5 million unpaid caregivers and the number continues to grow.

As many of you know, I have had my share of experience as a caregiver in both professional and personal situations, including end-of-life care for my first husband.
